About

What We Do

Gibson’s Family Network allows those with disabilities a chance to experience jobs, money, responsibilities, living skills, social skills, and more.

At GFN we want everyone to get the chance to live their life more independently. We want those with disabilities to know that they do have abilities, they just have to find them.

History

Gibson’s Family Network began as an association of families living in Gibsons, BC who have a family member or relative with a developmental disability. The group formed in 2004 and incorporated as a non-profit society in March 2006 in order to move forward to meet the need for more services on the Sunshine Coast. And in March 2007, we received our charitable status.
